Pack 401 November Camp

In order to attend each family will need to pay $25 to help with food and lodging cost. Each person attending will also need to fill out the “A & B” section of the medical form.

Campfire Pizza

Ingredients

French Bread

Pizza Sauce

Pepperoni

Shredded  Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

Spread pizza sauce on French bread, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Top with pepperoni and place on aluminum foil over campfire grill (make sure the flame is not too high) for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Garlic Butter

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried parsley (optional add more if you like)

sea salt to taste


Pancakes 

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

1 cup flour

1 tablespoon sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

1 egg

¾ cup milk {a little less or a little more is fine depending on the consistency you like}

2 tablespoons cooking oil







Sweet Ham & Swiss Sliders

Ingredients

24 Rolls

24 Slices of Black Forest Ham

24 Slices of Swiss Cheese

Sauce

1 Cube Butter, melted

1/4 cup Brown Sugar

2 TBLS Dijon Mustard

1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce

1 TBSP. (or less) Poppy Seeds

1 tsp. Onion Powder

Instructions

Cut rolls in half and fill with ham and cheese. Place on cooking pan. Mix together sauce and brush over rolls. Cover with foil. Bake for 10 minutes on fire or oven, then remove foil and cook for 10 minutes more.


Dump Cake

Ingredients 

2 cans of cherry pie filling

1 stick of butter

1 boxes of white cake mix 

Instructions

Lightly oil or spray a 12-inch Dutch oven. Dump the cherry pie filling into the Dutch oven. Sprinkle cake mix over top distributing evenly over filling. Slice butter and put on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from heat and enjoy.




Mountain Man Breakfast

Ingredients 

1 lb. of sausage, crumbled

2lb package of frozen hash browns, shredded

12 eggs beaten

1 package of shredded cheese (cheddar or American)

Instructions 

Cook and stir in sausage in a 12-inch cast iron Dutch oven with lid, raised over the coals to medium high heat until sausage is no longer pink, add in hash browns until evenly mixed. Cook stirring occasionally, until hash browns are hot. Add in beaten eggs over top of potato mixture. Cover and continue to bake with 6 to 9 coils on the bottom and 12 to 18 on top. Cook for 45 minutes rotating lid and bottom half way in opposite direction. Uncover and add cheese on top. Recover and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
